The NetVista A40 is equipped like a business system, with little regard for multimedia-oriented extras. Surprisingly, though, this system runs Microsoft's consumer-oriented Windows Me rather than the more corporate Windows 2000. Still, if you're looking for a Windows Me-based business desktop, its features should prove adequate. The NetVista has a Pentium III processor running at 1 GHz, 128 MB RAM (expandable to 512 MB), and a 20 GB hard disk drive. It also includes a 48x CD-ROM drive, Intel 3D graphics card, and Ethernet. It has no modem, however. Lotus SmartSuite and Lotus Notes client licenses are included as well.
